We have received reports of doorstep sellers in
SNITTERFIELD who are generally from the Nottingham
area and claim to be ex offenders trying to make a living from selling items
such as dusters and household cleaning products. Invariably they do not have
the required pedlar's licence to do this and often use pressure selling techniques.
If you are in any doubt about the authenticity of any ID
that may be presented or are suspicious about any person who comes to your door
please politely decline their services and discreetly phone Warwickshire police
on 101 so that local officers can carry out the required checks.
