Ticket Fraud

Dear resident,

If you are planning on buying tickets to an event this summer, take time to read Get Safe Online's advice on purchasing tickets online safely. Attached is a new leaflet on Ticket Fraud, whilst the below link provides the latest advice listed on our website:

Whether it's cricket, tennis or a concert, however desperate you are, don’t buy tickets from anyone apart from official vendors, the box office or reputable fan reseller sites.

With best wishes,

the Get Safe Online team

@NAT - Social broadband tariffs from £12

Social tariffs are special discounted deals available to certain low-income customers. They're generally cheaper than standard broadband tariffs, starting at just £12 a month. They also usually aren't subject to price rises or exit fees.

Whether you're eligible depends on your broadband provider. Some offer social tariffs to recipients of the following benefits: universal credit, pension credit (guarantee credit), income support, income-based jobseeker's allowance and income-based employment and support allowance. Some providers include other benefits, too. The account holder must be the person receiving the benefit to be eligible.

4.3 million UK households are eligible, but only 5% have signed up. We’re calling on providers to ensure that eligible customers are aware of social tariff deals and can switch easily and without penalty.

Think you might be eligible? Find out how to switch to a social tariff.

Best wishes,

Which? Campaigns
