Autumn is on its way and Warwickshire residents are being urged to book their free electric blanket test now. Bookings are now open to all residents aged 50+.
Warwickshire County Council Trading Standards is launching its annual electric blanket safety testing campaign. Have your electric blanket safety tested FREE of charge this coming October.

Rugby Library

Rugby Library to Be Improved

Warwickshire County Council will be carrying out works to Rugby Library from 3rd September. The works will lead to a much improved use of space within the building. There will be as much library shelving and room for computers as before but the layout will be reconfigured to offer customers more space in the children’s and study areas.

@SOA - Attempted Burglary foiled

Attempted Burglary foiled - shows the importance of reports to the police

Please be aware that on Friday 24 August 2018 at around 3pm a white vehicle (car) was seen in Lapworth Street, Lowsonford with two persons in the garden of a property. A vigilant local person who noticed this was spotted by the driver of the vehicle and the two individuals got back into the vehicle and the driver made off at speed. The local person contacted police.  The actions of the local person may have prevented a burglary or other crime. Residents are asked to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious. This is Incident 282 of 24.08.2018
