New Crimestoppers rural crime campaign
Crimestoppers, the national crime-fighting charity, is teaming up with local volunteer committees, law enforcement agencies and rural partners across the country to launch an innovative, social media campaign to help fight the crimes that affect the livelihood and stability of our rural communities.

This campaign urges the public to help protect rural communities from the damaging effects of crime.  Rural theft cost the UK an estimated £42.3m in 2012 and can have far reaching consequences for communities in terms of the impact that this can have on the food chain, deliveries and supermarket prices.
