@WEL- Nuisance Calls about burglar alarms

A Kineton resident has received a telephone call from an Intruder Alarm company attempting a hard sell along the lines of, ‘was he aware that alarms that are connected to the Police are no longer answered by the Police’.
The caller was calling from a withheld number
It is likely that the Kineton area is being targeted and this is almost certainly a scam; it may be a front for a free alarm system which is tied to a very expensive maintenance contract.

Regards,

Kineton Neighbourhood Watch
