Warwickshire Rural Watch Bulletin - 22 February 2017

Please be aware of the following incidents, which have occurred at farms and rural business premises, across Warwickshire, over recent days:

Incident 169 of 20 February - Aston Cantlow:  During the night of 19 into 20 February, offenders entered an insecure outbuilding at a farm premises in Aston Cantlow and then carried out a search of the vehicle parked inside.  Nothing was stolen.  The offenders also caused damage to galvanised steel on another building but failed to get inside and nothing was stolen.

Incident 292 of 20 February - Aston Cantlow:  At 9pm on 17 February, the resident of another farm premises in Aston Cantlow arrived home and saw a silver coloured Subaru Forrester vehicle parked up at the farm with a male inside.  He also saw a second male trying to cut the padlock off a fuel pump.  When spotted, the second male jumped into the Subaru and both offenders made off at speed.  Nothing was stolen.

Incident 62 of 22 February - Wellesbourne:  During the night of 21 into 22 February, offenders entered the yard of a rural business premises in Loxley Road, Wellesbourne and stole 4 heavy tuck batteries from vehicles parked in the yard.

Incident 114 of 21 February - Hurley:  Between 2pm on 16 February and 11am on 21 February, offenders stole a secure 3 tonne red and black Linde fork lift truck from an open sided barn at a farm premises in Hurley. 

Incident 326 of 21 February - Stockton:  Between 3.30 and 4.30pm on 21 February, offenders smashed the padlock off a chain securing trailers at a farm yard in Stockton and then stole an Ifor Williams trailer.
