@WAR - Rural Watch & Horse watch Bulletin – 25 November 2015

 
Farms are being targeted at the moment, out-buildings/barns are being broken into mostly during the night time however we did have an opportunist enter a building in the Stockton area during the day on Wednesday. A ride on mower was also stolen from a property in Harbury.

Incident 51 of 16 November - Astley

During the night of 15 into 16 November, offenders broke in to two outbuildings at a farm premises in Astley, Nuneaton and then broke in to old grain bins.  Damage was caused and several items were stolen.

Incident 104 of 17 November - Church Lawford

During the night of 16 into 17 November, offenders stole a magnolia Bailey caravan and another caravan from a farm premises in Church Lawford after moving a large tree out of the way to get the caravans out.

Incident 91 of 18 November - Monks Kirby

During the night of 17 into 18 November, offenders stole 3 off road motorbikes from a secure barn in the yard of a farm premises in Monks Kirby after cutting the lock off the door.

Incident 126 of 20 November - Meriden

During the night of 19 into 20 November, offenders stole a large quantity of red diesel from plant machinery at a rural business premises in Packington Lane, Meriden.

Incident 102 of 22 November - Baddesley Ensor

During the night of 21 into 22 November, offenders ripped the door off a sehd on land at Hill Top, Baddesley Ensor and then dragged out and stole a huge generator.  The offenders accessed the land over fields, cutting down fences as they went.

Incident 264 of 24 November - Easenhall

Between 3 and 5pm on 24 November, offenders stole an Ifor Williams triple axle silver coloured trailer from a rural premises in Brinklow Road, Easenhall.

Incident 178 of 25 November – Southam

Between 9am and 1.15pm today, 25 November, offenders entered an outbuilding at a farm premises in Southam after forcing open the door with a crow bar type instrument.  Once inside, the offenders stole 3 Husqvarna chainsaws, a Johnsered Chainsaw, a Stihl Chainsaw, a Husqvarna disc cutter and a Stihl hedge cutter.

Please remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your land, buildings or local area and please report anything out of place, or of concern, to Police on 101.
