This report from the Wellesbourne
Safer Neighbourhood Team covers the wards of Snitterfield, Wellesbourne, Kineton
and Burton Dassett.
The following incidents, for the
period between 08.12.14 to 14.12.14, have been reported and the team are
appealing for witnesses:
Stratford – Kings Lane
09.12.14 Incident No.0197
Burglary:
Entry was made by smashing a kitchen
window and the exit through a window in utility room.
Lighthorne – Post Office
Lane
13.12.2014 Incident No.0138
Theft:
A delivery package had been cut open
and a Laura Ashley duvet and three pillow cases removed.
Kineton – Park Piece
10.12.14 Incident No.0106
Suspicious circumstances:
A report of a silver transit van, no
VRN, with 3 males on board, driving around the area.
Stratford Town Centre
Be aware whilst shopping in
Stratford:
Historically there is an increase in
thefts during this seasonal period. There have been reports of females ‘dipping’
into female shoppers handbags.
A Mobile Police Station has been situated on Bridge Street on
Thursday night during the Christmas Market, staffed by SNT Officers and members
of the Community Safety Team from SDC offering crime prevention advice.
