Weekly Incident Summary
Areas covered by this weekly report are Long Itchington Ward, Southam Ward, Stockton & Napton Ward, Fenny Compton Ward and Harbury Ward.
Key incidents to note this week (07/12/14 -
14/12/14):
Southam
·
Vehicle Crime. Several Catalytic converters have
been taken from vehicles. Vehicles of which the converters were taken include a
Peugeot, an Izuzu and a Citroen. Incident is believed to have taken place
between 6.00pm on the 5th/12/14 and 8.30am of the 8th/12/14.
Incident No 0171 of the 8th/12/14.

Theft Other. Two bank cards were taken by a male.
The male was described as around the age of 40, medium height with a grey coat.
All the cards were cancelled. Took place between 11.30am and 12.00am on the 11th/12/14.
Incident No. 0171 of the 11th/12/14.
Stockton
·
Vehicle Crime. A rear view mirror is believed to
have been taken from a car while parked on the drive. Believed to have taken
place between 7.00pm on the 8th/12/14 and 8.00am on the 9th/12/14.
Incident No 0087 on the 9th/12/14.
Long
Itchington
Vehicle Crime. A rear view mirror is believed to
have been taken from a vehicle. Believed to have taken place between 7.00pm on
5th/12/14 to 7.55pm on the 9th/12/14. Incident No. 0238
Ufton/Southam
/ Fosse way/Small A roads

Several
road related incidents and RTC’s have occurred. In all cases no one was
injured.
Often on many of the high speed A roads
incidents are most likely to occur especially with worsening weather
conditions. We advise all drivers to be vigilant and drive within the speed
limit and not drive when tired. We also encourage safe overtaking not on bends
and awareness that ice/ snow can increase breaking distance by up to 10 times.
