Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team Report 27 – 22.06.15


This report from the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team covers the wards of Snitterfield, Wellesbourne, Kineton and Burton Dassett.

The following incidents, for the period between 10.06.15 – 22.06.15 have been reported and the team are appealing for witnesses:

Snitterfield Ward
No significant incidents to report.

Wellesbourne Ward
Wellesbourne – Willow Drive
Suspicious circumstances – 10.06.15 & 11.06.15
2 reports of an individual taking photographs of properties.

Wellesbourne - Elliott Drive
Theft – 15.06.15/088
A stone garden ornament, a pheasant, has been stolen over the past two weeks. SNT visited and gave crime reduction advice and support.

Newbold Pacey
Theft – 16.06.15/233/229
An old, but functional double axle tipping trailer, blue, was driven away by a red pick up truck with a male driver and female passenger.

Wellesbourne – Elliott Drive
Burglary – 19.06.15/157
Attempt to force glass panel of front door but no entry made to the property. SNT visited and gave crime reduction advice and reassurance.

Kinston Ward
Lighthorne Filling Station
Burglary – 11.06.15/032
Attempted burglary via skylights, back doors and a window. Vehicles vandalised.

Kineton - St Peter's Road
Vehicle damage – 219
Peugeot 309, whole driver’s side scratched with a sharp object. This is the third time it has happened. SNT made house to house enquiries but these did not result in any information.

Gaydon – Banbury Road
Theft – 17.06.15/068
£700 worth of contractor’s tools stole overnight – DeWalt laser; Makita hammer drill and sander; glass lifting suckers.

Banbury Road – Land Rover
Theft – 17.06.15/152
Company laptop stolen from the design and engineering studio.

Kineton – Hanbury Close
Damage – 18.06.15/350
Report of youths throwing stones at the window of an elderly resident. Police attended and have followed up the incident.

Burton Dassett Ward
No significant incidents to report
