Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team Report 8 – 11.01.15

This report from the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team covers the wards of Snitterfield, Wellesbourne, Kineton and Burton Dassett.

The following incidents, for the period between 04.01.15 to 11.12.15, have been reported and the team are appealing for witnesses:

Wellesbourne		Traffic	A BMW being driven through Wellesbourne was seized as the driver only held a provisional driving licence. He was reported to court for licence and insurance offences.
Wellesbourne  Daniell Road	05.01.15 0274	Burglary	A light sensor on the drive was covered by a hoody. The lock on the up and over garage door has been broken. It is thought that the offenders were disturbed and nothing has been taken.
Wellesbourne  Mordaunt Road	06.01.15 0114	Burglary	Entry was gained by damaging the rear door. A television was taken and possibly other items. Exact date of incident is unknown.
Warmington  Church Hill	09.01.15 0302	Criminal Damage	Rear windscreen of vehicle smashed but nothing was stolen.
Warmington  Grange	06.01.15 0147	Theft	Approximately 2000 ltrs of domestic heating oil stolen. Noises were heard 10.30 – 11.30 and a blue/white tanker style vehicle was seen in the area during the morning.
Kineton   Hanbury Close	08.01.15 0072	Criminal Damage	Side facing window was damaged. A youth, with a hood, was seen running from the area by a neighbour. There has also been a report of stones being thrown at the windows of this property.
Lighthorne Farm property	08.01.15	Burglary	A Siemens 5.5 kw air blower was removed from an unsecured outbuilding. A gate has been forced on an entrance to the farm on the Fosse Way. A battery has also been stolen.
