The District Council is pleased to announce the launch of its Shop Front Grants Scheme aimed at enhancing shop fronts.
Qualifying businesses are invited to apply for one-off grants of up to £500, towards the cost of external painting and decorating. The Scheme is open to applications from independent shops and businesses within the District, with the exception of the major Market Towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour, Alcester and Southam.
Cllr Maurice Howse, Enterprise, Housing and Revenues Portfolio says: “The Shop Front Grants Scheme is intended to assist businesses in ‘sprucing up their shop fronts’ in an effort to improve visual appearance, help with better promotion, kerb appeal and footfall.” This is also a great chance for as many qualifying businesses as possible to use this as an opportunity to get ready for Small Business Saturday which takes place on 5th December 2015.
